Had my racket restrung, and was able to drop off and collect same day - super speedy service!!! Sam went through efforts to make sure the strings were adjusted to how I’d want it and even provided recommendations for any future restringing I get done again. Great stuff, highly recommend!!!

I took two of my tennis racquets to Sam that another company had restrung - but basically exactly the opposite to what I wanted. Thankfully Sam listened carefully to my requirements, my (unorthodox) playing style etc and restrung both perfectly. He was recommended by several friends at my tennis club and his work proved excellent. He was efficient, easy to contact and communicative and price competitive.

Badminton Racket Stringing Service FAQ's

How long is your turnaround time?

The average turnaround time is 24-hours. Typically my clients will drop their racket(s) off, ready for collection the following day. There are busier times during the year where the turnaround time may extend to 2 or 3 days depending on the backlog.

Do you have any certification?

Yes, I am a UKRSA certified tennis racket stringer. Since 2018 I have restrung thousands of rackets.

What stringing machine do you use?

I use a highly advanced Wilson Baiardo racket stringing machine. This is an ultra premium machine that is used at multiple professional events around the globe. This machine ensures that your racket is protected and strung to your desired tension, every time.

What strings do you have in stock?

We focus on Yonex badminton strings for the simple reason that they are best in class. The options available range from beginner to expert players, comprising of key characteristics such as power, feel & durability.

Can I provide my own strings?

Yes, if you would prefer to supply your own strings that's no problem. For this service I charge £18 per racket.

Do I need to schedule an appointment?

An appointment is not required. Simply let me know what day and an approximate time you'd like to drop your racket off and that's sufficient.

Can I wait while my racket is restrung?

This can be possible but an appointment will be required for this. Evenings and weekends are typically when I have the most availability to restring your racket while you wait.

How do I know which string to choose?

I'm happy to guide you through different string options when you drop your racket off. This will be based on a few questions to understand what benefits you are trying to make to your game. Whether it's feel, power or control I will help you find your perfect string.

Can you help me decide on a suitable tension?

Yes. When you drop your racket off we can discuss a suitable string tension. In summary a higher tension will help with power and a lower tension will better for touch and feel. However, there are some variables to consider such as string type, string pattern and racket head size.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is plenty of space to park for free on the driveway when you bring your racket for stringing. If you have made an appointment to wait for your racket while it's restrung you're welcome to leave your car on the driveway until your racket is ready to collect.
